Opposition leader, and notable train enthusiast, Jeremy Corbyn has delighted grime fans by announcing he will be headlining Parklife festival this summer.
Parklife will take place over the weekend of the 10th and 11th June and will feature such acts as Frank Ocean, Stormzy and Run the Jewels, as well as Corbyn’s own group – Boy Better Know.
Jeremy himself was not expected to attend the festival with a busy summer schedule of a disappointing election bid and a holiday to Gt Yarmouth already in the pipeline, but a source close to the Labour leader insists the scruffy man has had a change of heart.
Corbyn’s stage presence and ability on the mic have already got festival goers anticipating a great set.
In the words of Jeremy himself: “Man’s never been in Westminster when it’s shutdown”.
