Country super star has reportedly released a special single in support of Junior Doctors after hearing about their plight from across the Atlantic.

The new single is a take on her famous hit ‘9-5’ with the new title being ‘8-8 and ’til 7pm on the weekends’, noting the new changes to junior doctor’s contracts being imposed by Jeremy Hunt.

Speaking about the album, Dolly had this to say:

‘I couldn’t understand how you’d trust someone with your life but you don’t trust them when they say they’re a bit overworked. ‘9-5′ was about the work day getting you down and working for the weekend, and I was just so upset to hear that these guys don’t even get a weekend’

All profits from the single are going towards a special cause – funding a new, actually competent union for doctors in the UK.
